Learn about the publication process and how to submit your manuscript. This tutorial will help you maximize the chance to be published.
Potential authors should download our manuscript template (click here) that outlines
instructions for preparing an article, including:
Format and structure
Abstract highlights and keywords
Acceptable formats for tables, figures, and data sources
Reference style
The length of the submission is very flexible. However, we recommend an average length
of 4,500-6,000, including words, figures, tables, and references.
You can submit to JCSE using our online submission system. You can access
the submission system via the "submit your manuscript" link on the navigation
bar.
Once submitted, your paper will be considered by the editor and if it passes
initial screening, it will be sent for peer review by experts in your field. If
deemed unsuitable for publication in your chosen journal, the editor may suggest you
transfer your submission to a more suitable journal, via an article transfer service.
You can track the status of your submitted paper online. The system you use to track your submission will be the same system to which you submitted. Use the reference number you received after submission to track your submission.
